Anocial Redesign. It’s Like Getting a New Pair of Shoes.
Remember when you were a kid, and that feeling you’d get when you got that new pair of Chuck Taylor’s? You just knew that you could run, jump, and climb faster, higher, and further because of them. We’d compare the tread of our shoes on the playground, because obviously, cooler tread meant the uncanny ability to run faster. That’s the optimism of change.
Right now, I have that optimism of change. I spent 14 hours on Friday, and another eight on Saturday working this change over. I’m really happy with it. In fact, it has energized my out look on blogging. I have the feeling that I can blog longer, faster and better than I could just a few days before.
Take a look around, there’s a few new features. There are still some pages I’m gonna reword, one or two that I’m gonna trash altogether, and at least one more completely new page. It’s been a lot of work and there are still some glitches I have to fix, but over all, it’s good to go.
One of the main things this site does is answer what I have been hearing from you. Template based websites are a very affordable alternative to the traditional custom designed website. I work primarily with WordPress but also with Drupal. The single best thing that template based sites offer to you is that, though affordable, you won’t have to sacrifice any quality. You’d really be amazed at how many site you look at every day are template based. It’s a huge change from just a few years ago. If you are interested in talking about a brand new site or revamping the one you have, drop me a line, here. By the way, this site is template based, as well.
So like I said, give the site a once over, and tell me what you think. I’m pretty happy with it. No, I’m really happy with it. I just got my brand new pair of Chucky T’s.
